About our Town

The Bradford community is located in northeastern White County on the border of the Delta region. Bradford is a strong farming community with crops that include: Soy Beans, Milo, Rice and Wheat. Bradford offers a strong school system that serves three year olds through twelfth grades. While our local resource rate (community wealth) is in the lower 20% of districts in the state, our students are performing on average well above the national average on the nationally standardized Stanford Achievement Test. Bradford is served by one public library and businesses that include Citizen’s State Bank, Bill’s Food Center, Eden’s Quick Check (gas station), Dollar General and Winningham’s Pharmacy. Bradford is a small rural area where everyone feels welcome and the patrons take an active interest in what is taking place within the community.
